Allied International: 1962 to 1970
New Zealand owned label Allied International started as Top Rank Records in 1959. Top Rank changed its name to Allied International in 1960 to avoid a name clash with the overseas label also called Top Rank. In 1961 G.A. Wooller & Co. brought the label from Prestige Records (N.Z.) Ltd. and Kerridge Odeon Ltd and formed Allied International Records Ltd. The Allied International label released a large number of local artists well as overseas acts.
Singles were issued in a company sleeve or in a plain white sleeve.
