Family

Family: 1972 to 1976

Family Records was a subsidiary of Pye (NZ) Ltd. It was formed in 1971 but it first release was in 1972.  It released a mix of overseas and New Zealand artists. Family singles were issued in the Pye company sleeve or a plain white sleeve.

Pye Records New Zealand Ltd was sold to Polygram in 1975. They wound down the Family label in 1976.
