RAK

RAK: 1970 to 1976

In 1970 H.M.V. obtained the rights to distribute the newly formed British label RAK label in New Zealand. Singles were issued in an unique RAK sleeve.

RAK Centre Label 1970 to 1972

In 1972 H.M.V. rebranded as EMI. The sleeve was change accordingly. I am unsure when this sleeve was retired. If you can shed some light on this please leave a comment. 

RAK Sleeve 1972 to ?

Some RAK releases were issued in EMI's Purple sleeve from 1970 on. 

RAK Alternative Sleeve 1970 to 1976 

Sleeves issued between 1970 and 1972 have 'Distributed In New Zealand By H.M.V. (N.Z.) Ltd' print on them. Those issued between 1972 and 1976 have EMI. 

RAK: 1976 to 1983

In 1976 EMI introduced the blue sleeve.

EMI stopped issuing singles on the RAK label in 1983.
