Rocket

Rocket: 1975

In 1975 Festival Records (NZ) Ltd started releasing British label Rocket Records in New Zealand. Singles were issued in the blue Festival company sleeve.

Rocket 1976 to 1979

In 1976 EMI took over distribution. They introduced an unique Rocket Records sleeve. Some releases were issued in the blue EMI company sleeve.

Rocket 1979 to 1981

In 1979 PolyGram took over manufacturing and distribution of Rocket. Singles were issued in the PolyGram company sleeve.

PolyGram's company sleeve changed again in 1981.

In 1983 the red and green sleeves were introduced.

Polygram stopped releasing singles on the Rocket Records label in New Zealand in 1986.
