Zodiac Records was an independent record label owned by Stebbing Studios in Auckland New Zealand. Stebbing Studios had been releasing local artist on 78s since 1949 on it's Stebbing label. In 1951 it launched Zodiac Records. In 1957 Zodiac Records started issuing singles on the seven inch 45rpm vinyl format.

From 1957 to 1963, Zodiac singles were issued in a unique Zodiac company sleeve.

In 1963 G. A. Wooller Co Ltd began distributing Zodiac. The sleeve and label designed were changed. This sleeve was issued in red, green and black.Zodiac Sleeve (Red) 1963 to 1968

Sometime after 1966 G. A. Wooller & Co. Ltd stopped distributing Zodiac. There are some rare sleeves with G. A. Wooller blanked out.

Rear of some of the blue Zodiac sleeves featured a Pan-Am ad. I am unsure when this was introduced. If you can shed some light on this please leave a comment.

Zodiac Records stopped releasing singles in 1974. In 1975, Stebbing Studios started up the Key label.
Zodiac International
In 1965 Zodiac introduced its subsidiary label Zodiac International. It released New Zealand based Australian band The Pleazers and overseas artists licensed to Zodiac. Singles were issued in the above Zodiac company sleeves.
