Zodiac

Zodiac Records was an independent record label owned by Stebbing Studios in Auckland New Zealand. Stebbing Studios had been releasing local artist on 78s since 1949 on it's Stebbing label. In 1951 it launched Zodiac Records. In 1957 Zodiac Records started issuing singles on the seven inch 45rpm vinyl format.

Rear of some of the blue Zodiac sleeves featured a Pan-Am ad. I am unsure when this was introduced. If you can shed some light on this please leave a comment.

Zodiac International

In 1965 Zodiac introduced its subsidiary label Zodiac International. It released New Zealand based Australian band The Pleazers and overseas artists licensed to Zodiac. Singles were issued in the above Zodiac company sleeves.
