Allied International

 Allied International: 1962-70

New Zealand owned label Allied International started as Top Rank Records in 1959. Top Rank changed its name to Allied International in 1960 to avoid a name clash with the overseas label also called Top Rank. In 1961 G.A. Wooller & Co. brought the label from Prestige Records (N.Z.) Ltd. and Kerridge Odeon Ltd and formed AlliedInternational Records Ltd.  The Allied International label  released a large number of local artists well as overseas acts.

Singles were issued in a company sleeve or in a plain white sleeve.

AIR

As part of the split with Festival Records in 1966 G.A. Wooller & Co. Ltd kept the Allied International label. G.A. Wooller & Co. Ltd started trading as Pye Records New Zealand Ltd. It kept releasing singles on the Allied International label until 1970. The label then changed its name to AIR. Singles were issued in a unique sleeve.
