Epic

Epic: 1961 to 1966

From 1961 to 1966 Epic were distributed in New Zealand by local label Peak Records.

Epic: 1967 to 1970

His Master's Voice (NZ) Ltd took over distribution at the end of 1966. Epic Records were then issued in H.M.V. company sleeves from 1967 to 1970.

Epic: 1970 to 1974

In 1970 Polygram began distributing Epic Records. Singles were issued in an unique Epic sleeve.

Epic: 1974 to 1978

In 1972 Polygram Records Ltd as renamed Phonogram Ltd. A new unique sleeve was introduced in 1974.

Epic: 1978 to 1981

Epic is a subsidiary label of CBS Inc.. So in 1978 when CBS NZ Ltd started operating in New Zealand it took over distribution  of the Epic label.   From 1978 until 1981 singles were issued in the CBS company sleeve

In 1982, a unique sleeve was reintroduced.
