Festival Records: 1956 to 1959
In 1954 G. A. Wooller & Co Ltd obtained the licensing rights to release the Festival (Australia) Ltd stable of labels in New Zealand. It began releasing 78s on the Festival (NZ) label. In 1956 Festival started releasing singles in the new seven-inch 45rpm format. They were issued in a unique sleeve.
