Mushroom

Australian label Mushroom Records was distributed in New Zealand by Festival Records from 1976 to 1990. 

Mushroom: 1976 to 1982

Mushroom singles were issued in the Festival Company sleeve.

Mushroom 1982 to 1990

In 1982 an unique Mushroom sleeve was introduced. Although some Mushroom singles (it seems second pressings) were still issued in the Festival Company sleeve. I am unsure when this sleeve was retired. It could have been in use up until 1990. If you can shed light on this please leave a comment.

Mushroom Sleeve 1982 to 1989?

After 1982 New Zealand artist signed to Mushroom NZ were released with white centre label. While artist signed to Mushroom Australia were issued with black centre label.

Mushroom Records stopped releasing vinyl singles in New Zealand in 1989.
